Salary: Pro-rata of $110,000 - $120,000 | Location: Fernwood Fitness National Support Office (Richmond)
Reporting to: National Operations Manager
About Fernwood Fitness
At Fernwood Fitness, we're Australia's leading women-only fitness community, dedicated to empowering women to live stronger, healthier, and more confident lives. We're looking for a Data Analyst who's ready to help us understand our impact even better—turning data into insights that shape the future of women's health and fitness in Australia.
About the Role
This is a 3-day-a-week, office-based role for someone who loves the flexibility of part-time work but wants to make a full-time impact. You'll work closely with marketing, operations, sales and leadership teams to unlock the trends hidden in our data and turn numbers into actionable insights that drive real business decisions.
What You'll Be Working On:
Your first 6–12 months will include high-impact projects such as:
BI Tool Transformation – Lead the search, selection, and implementation of a new business intelligence tool that our team can manage internally
Marketing Performance Rebuild – Redesign our marketing dashboards to provide real-time visibility into campaign performance, member acquisition, and ROI
HYPOXI Performance Reporting – Build custom reports to track the effectiveness of our HYPOXI offerings and optimise member outcomes
Member Lifetime Value & Retention Dashboards – Create visual dashboards that help us understand member journeys and identify retention drivers
Beyond these projects, you'll support ad-hoc analysis, contribute to strategic planning, and be a trusted voice for data-driven decision-making.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally in operations, marketing, or health/fitness environments
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar)
A knack for storytelling with data - turning complex datasets into clear, compelling insights
Initiative and curiosity around data
Understanding of marketing metrics and membership data (ideal but not essential)
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
Why Join Fernwood?
Flexibility – 3 days a week in the office means more time for life outside of work
Real impact – your insights will directly shape business strategy and member experience
Values-driven culture – work with a team that genuinely cares about empowering our members and franchise partners
Professional development – we invest in our people and support their growth
Ready to Make an Impact?
If you're a data enthusiast who wants to work somewhere meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
To Apply: Submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us why you're excited about this role.
