UX Design Analyst opportunity
- Approx. $80-$110 per hour plus super dependent on experience
- Assignment duration is up to 4 months. Immediate Start
- Melbourne CBD location/Hybrid Arrangement
About the role
Government agency requires an experienced UX Design Analyst to map the program customer journey, user stories and support the development of business rules/user requirements for the work progress across agencies. As the UX Design Analyst, you will develop a customer journey, develop user personas and user flows, and support the delivery of business initiatives through the facilitation of design and discovery workshops.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- develop a customer journey map for the program.
- develop user personas and user flows (end to end swim lane process).
- conduct light user research and testing, translating insights into pragmatic design solutions.
- support the delivery of business initiatives through the facilitation of design and discovery workshops.
- work with internal and external development teams to support the delivery of new digital initiatives and features.
- develop experience maps, storyboards and wireframes as required.
- develop and obtain approvals for user stories, business rules and user requirements.
- build effective stakeholder relationships and work across agencies, commission and department to meet objectives.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Strong service design skills with proven experience in journey mapping and user stories.
- Proven experience and confidence in moving between facilitating strategic decisions to detailed design options.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency as it relates to certificate markets, buildings, appliances, equipment or the residential or business sectors is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Qualification(s) in UX/Service Design
- 5+ years’ experience in UX/Service Design
- Previous government experience is desirable, but not essential

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
