Our client is embarking on a Dynamics 365 implementation and is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to own the end-to-end migration across Design and into Build/Test/Deploy. You'll define the strategy, plan the work, and design the technical solution (Azure Data Factory), working closely with client stakeholders and coordinating one or more offshore resources.

Duration: Through early–mid January for Design Phase, with strong likelihood of extension into Build, Test and Deploy

What you'll do

Develop a comprehensive Data Migration Strategy for Dynamics 365

Build a detailed Data Migration Project Plan aligned to the strategy, milestones, and risks

Design a scalable, secure Data Migration technical solution leveraging Azure Data Factory (ADF) and related Azure services

Collaborate with client SMEs to drive data profiling and cleansing; establish data quality controls and governance

Lead and mentor offshore resources; allocate tasks, review deliverables, and ensure on-time, high-quality outputs

Partner with functional and technical teams across Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Sales

What you'll bring

Proven experience leading end-to-end data migration for Dynamics 365 implementations

Minimum of 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end data migration for Dynamics 365 implementations

Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory; solid understanding of Azure ecosystem (Data Lake, Databricks/Mapping Data Flows, Azure SQL)

Strong track record migrating into Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Sales (data entities, Data Management Framework, staging, packages)

Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management; ability to lead geographically distributed teams

Bonus: Experience with master data management, Power Platform, and Azure DevOps for work/item tracking
