About the Role:
As a Restoration Technician, you’ll assist with a wide range of restoration projects across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
This is a permanent full-time role (38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm) reporting to the QLD Operations Manager. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, with clear opportunities to advance into senior roles as our QLD operations grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)
Essential Requirements:
Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
Current and valid QLD driver’s license (manual preferred)
Valid Police Check
A willingness to learn – no experience necessary
Exceptional customer service and communication skillsAbility to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
Electronic reporting skills
Desirable:
IICRC accreditations (Water, Mould, Fire)
Experience in building, cleaning, or restoration industries
Truck licence or experience driving larger vehicles
Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
