Restoration Technician – Mackay, QLD
$65,000 – $70,000 + Company Vehicle | Full-Time

Join a growing restoration business that takes pride in delivering fast, professional, and reliable services across Mackay and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Restoration Technician to hit the ground running and make a real difference for our clients.

Location: Mackay and surrounds
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm (Must be okay to be on call)
Vehicle: Fully maintained company vehicle provided

What You’ll Be Doing:

Attend water, mold, fire, and storm damage restoration jobs across the region.

Operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters to restore properties efficiently.

Perform site clean-ups, moisture checks, and minor demolition tasks.

Liaise with customers, insurance representatives, and internal teams to ensure seamless service.

Complete job documentation via phone or tablet accurately.

Participate in an on-call rotation (some after-hours work required).

What We’re Looking For:

Previous restoration, trade, or construction experience (preferred).

Positive attitude with the ability to work independently.

Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, manual tasks.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Current driver’s license.

Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads.
