About the role

Are you a qualified small engine mechanic looking for an exciting role at a leading retailer of outdoor power equipment? THE MOWER SUPASTORE' is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join our team in Brendale, Queensland. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, and other small engine machines.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment

Performing scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and blade sharpening

Testing and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance

Providing excellent customer service and advising customers on product maintenance and repair

Occasional Onsite Repairs

Maintaining detailed records of all repair work

Participating in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in small engine repair or mechanics, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated experience servicing and repairing a range of outdoor power equipment

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-experts

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

A valid Manual Driver's License and your own tools
