About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated HR professional to join the HPCA’s People and Engagement team as the HR Advisor. Based at our Pitt Street office, this role is closely involved in key people and engagement activities and provides support to managers and staff on a range of people-related matters with a high level of customer service.

Reporting to the Principal People and Engagement, the HR Advisor is responsible for responding to queries in relation to recruitment and employment legislation, providing advice on people-related matters, supporting the implementation of HR policies, projects and initiatives and coordinating a range of administrative processes.

Crown Clerk 5/6 salary from $99,938 - $110,271 plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

· Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant discipline or equivalent experience including employment and recruitment policies, procedures and legislation

· Understanding of employment matters and ability to interpret awards and conditions and apply Public Sector legislation and policy guidelines

· Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service

The Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) is an executive agency of the NSW Ministry of Health. We play an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public by supporting the 15 NSW Health Professional Councils in managing complaints about NSW health practitioners.

The position is based at the HPCA Pitt Street offices, located only a short walking distance from Central Station and Belmore Park.
