This role provides vital administrative support within a busy building certification team. You will manage building permit applications, organise inspections, and assist with issuing certificates, ensuring all processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant. You’ll act as the key point of contact for clients, providing guidance on the application process, while working closely with experienced building surveyors to keep projects on track. This is a hands-on, varied role perfect for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and contributing to a team that makes a real impact on local communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare new building applications for certification and manage building inspections and certificates.
- Lodge applications and inspection documents into the company’s software system.
- Liaise with government bodies to process property searches and minor applications efficiently.
- Take inspection bookings and organise practical, efficient schedules.
- Provide general advice to clients about the building permit and certification process.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients.

Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in the building surveying or construction industry is preferred.
- Experience with the NSW Planning Portal is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer use and administrative software.
