The Opportunity

As Senior Legal Counsel, you'll work directly with senior leaders and internal teams across Development, Construction, Sales, and Finance, providing legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters. This is a hands-on role with exposure to complex development and construction contracts, joint ventures, and corporate governance, as well as day-to-day legal support across the business.

While this is not strictly a project finance or infrastructure position, experience with property development, construction law, or real estate transactions will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, deeds, and contracts
• Support legal aspects of major development and construction projects
• Liaise with external legal counsel and manage contract negotiations
• Provide advice on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters
• Assist internal teams with legal queries and documentation across the project lifecycle
• Maintain accurate legal records and support risk management initiatives

What We're Looking For:

• Around 6+ years' post-admission experience (either in-house or private practice)
• Background in property, development, or construction law
• Strong contract review, negotiation, and drafting skills
• Commercial mindset and ability to communicate legal concepts in plain English
• NSW practising certificate (or eligibility)
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and detail-oriented approach
