Left Field is an ethical labour hire company providing PALM, backpacker, and local workers to farms and food producers.
We help regional growers succeed by delivering reliable, well-supported workforce solutions and creating meaningful opportunities for workers and communities.
We are expanding into the Sunraysia and Riverland regions and looking for a proven sales leader ready to take ownership of building this new area from the ground up.
About the role
You will lead sales and business development, win new clients, and manage early and new small scale-operations until the local team grows.
This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy but wants the backing of an organised and supportive head office.
You will spend most of your time out with new growers, understanding their workforce needs, and delivering practical, reliable solutions that make their operations run smoothly.
Key duties
Identify, acquire, and manage new clients to drive revenue growth
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Build and maintain a robust pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
Deliver engaging sales pitches and proposals to client key stakeholders
Understand and stay informed on industry trends and market shifts
Manage early workforce delivery until specialist roles are in place
Help design and refine systems that will scale nationally
About you
You are a confident dealmaker who knows how to open doors, build trust, close sales, and deliver on promises.
You are commercially sharp, practical, and get a kick out of sales and achieving results.
You must have permanent residency or Australian citizenship to be eligible for this position - please do not apply if you require sponsorship
You will bring
Experience managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
Strong background in B2B sales, ideally with a service or solution-based product
A minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience
Strong ability to cold call, visit farms, and build new relationships from scratch
A passion for building relationships and delivering value to clients
A commercial mindset with accountability for outcomes
Grit, independence, and comfort working in regional environments
Willingness to travel, including overnight stays where necessary

$100,000 - $120,000 base salary + super + bonuses + car + laptop + mobile

Location
Based in Mildura or the Riverland, with some travel across regional Australia if required.
