Role Overview: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing lasting relationships within the NDIS community. The ideal candidate will have established networks with key stakeholders, including LACs (Local Area Coordinators), NDIS Planners, Community Engagement personal and Support Coordinators. This position is a unique opportunity to play a key role in expanding our reach and impact across the country. We have a strong and well-respected position in the WA and QLD markets and are looking to trial expansion into VIC.

Our point of difference is that we truly do care about our participants and nominees. We always pick up the phone and we offer a personalised and empathetic service which is quite a stretch from the standard transactional based Plan Managers that hold a majority of the market share in the space.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth within the NDIS space within VIC.

Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with LACs, NDIS Planners, Support Coordinators, and other relevant stakeholders.

Identify and pursue new opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with service providers, organisations, and individuals in the disability sector.

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Track and report on business development progress and achievements.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the NDIS and disability services sector (not essential for the right candidate).

Strong existing networks and relationships with key NDIS stakeholders, including LACs, NDIS Planners, and Support Coordinators.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of individuals and organisations.

General knowledge of the NDIS and its processes (not essential as we can provide the relevant context).

Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Ability to think strategically and drive business growth.

A passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
