About Us
We are a 100% locally owned hospitality group with an aim to provide top quality, unique & exciting venues all with their own style and character.
We have multiple manager role openings for the right candidate(s). Some in our existing venues along with a new venue opening soon in the heart of Braddon.
The Job
First and foremost the role will be about creating and maintaining a tight knit team of enthusiastic individuals. You will lead the team and you will be responsible for food and beverage training and help develop the team to the best of their abilities.
You will work closely with owners and other key team members to make sure that the operation runs true to our vision and philosophies.
You will be responsible for all aspects of front of house service, ensuring that all patrons have an exceptional experience when they dine with us. Hospitality is the name of the game so you will be required to ensure that our guests are always feeling well looked after when in our venue!
This is an opportunity for someone who has a real passion for food and drink and wishes to develop their career and keep pushing their boundaries.
What the job involves
· Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
· Hiring and training of staff
· Rostering
· Managing Inventory, ordering, stock levels, etc
· Managing and maintaining standards in all areas of the venue
· Operating within budgets
· Weekly meeting with the business owners reporting on business performance, new initiatives, customer satisfaction and relevant issues
· Maintaining meticulous venue presentation
· Merchandising and signage
Who we want
The most important thing to us is character! Above everything else we want someone with character & passion that believes in what we do and that can become part of the venue and not just a manager!
Then we’re looking for someone with…
· Full work rights in Australia
· Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role and restaurant
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong knowledge of wine (preferably natural/minimal intervention)
· Motivated and always has a positive attitude
· Good decision-making capabilities
· Able to delegate responsibility to key team members
· An eye for detail and exceptional communication skills
· Strong computer skills required Microsoft Office and MacOS
· Availability to work a mix of weekdays, weekends, nights
· A current RSA
