$35.85/hr plus super

10am – 2pm - Monday - Friday (20 hours/week)

Immediate start

Supporting the Finance Manager - your duties will include:

Reconciliation and entry of daily revenue

Journal preparation and entry

Creditor invoice matching, coding and entry

Weekly creditor payment runs

Creditor statements

General admin duties

Experience

2 - 3 years experience as an Accounts Assistant and sound knowledge of accounting procedures

Previous experience in the back office of hospitality (particularly Community Clubs) would be an advantage, but not essential.

Payroll experience an advantage

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Excel & Word

Experience using computerised accounting software

Ability to prioritise work and ensure deadlines are met

Excellent attention to detail

The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge base in accounts payable and reconciliations and will ideally have a flexible attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to use initiative.
