🌟 The Opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker, creative content developer, and education professional all in one? We're seeking a Training Specialist to join the Stakeholder Engagement, Education and Change stream of the Funding and Disclosure (FAD) Reform Program - a program set to transform how political funding and disclosure operates in Australia.
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you'll help internal and external stakeholders understand major regulatory reforms and use new ICT systems. You'll create engaging, accessible, and multi-format education products that bring clarity and confidence to users navigating complex change.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design & Deliver: Create interactive education programs, e-learning modules, videos, animations, workshops and more.
  
• Collaborate: Work closely with SMEs, training experts, and regulatory teams to develop user-focused, on-brand content.
  
• Simplify the Complex: Translate detailed regulatory and technical content into clear, digestible training materials.
  
• Engage Stakeholders: Build and manage effective relationships across internal teams and high-profile external audiences.
  
• Measure Impact: Evaluate education effectiveness and shape future strategies with data-driven insights.
  
• Stay Current: Apply the latest learning trends, accessibility standards, and digital tools to every product.
  

🛠️ What You Bring

Mandatory Skills & Experience:
✅ Demonstrated experience in education/training development, ideally in a regulatory, compliance, or reform setting
✅ Strong writing and content creation skills - able to turn complexity into clarity
✅ Skilled in producing education and comms strategies that meet measurable outcomes
✅ A collaborator who builds trust with stakeholders at all levels
✅ Highly organised and adaptable under tight deadlines
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ideally course-authoring tools (e.g. Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Suite)
✅ Calm, clear communicator with experience delivering training to high-stakes audiences

Desirable (but not essential):

➕ Tertiary qualifications in Training, Education, Instructional Design or a related field
➕ Experience in multimedia production, animation or basic video editing
➕ Past exposure to government, regulatory reform or political environments
➕ Familiarity with accessibility and user-centred design principles
