Operations Manager

📍 Perth, WA | 🕒 Full-Time | 🚗 Site Travel Required

We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead our cleaning teams and uphold high standards across all our contracts. This role is crucial in ensuring consistent service quality by overseeing site operations, conducting inspections, providing practical training, and promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

🔍 About the Role

As our Operations Manager, you’ll regularly visit client sites to assess performance, support cleaners on the ground, and ensure all sites meet company and client expectations. You’ll also assist with onboarding new cleaners, conducting refresher training, and improving operational efficiency and procedures.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the job done right, leads by example, and motivates teams to perform their best. Experience in cleaning industry management will be a huge plus.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Inspections

Conduct regular site visits to assess cleaning quality and compliance

Complete inspection reports and provide clear feedback to cleaners and management

Proactively identify and address service issues before they become client concerns

Recommend improvements and arrange retraining where needed

Training & Development

Deliver hands-on training to new starters on cleaning techniques, site procedures, and safe work practices

Run refresher sessions for existing cleaners to maintain standards

Keep accurate training records

Review and refine training materials and processes as needed

Workplace Health & Safety

Ensure all cleaners understand and follow WHS policies and safe work practices

Monitor PPE usage and site safety compliance

Report hazards or incidents and assist in follow-up actions

Team Support & Communication

Provide on-the-job coaching and support to cleaning teams

Work closely with management and operations to improve performance

Assist in managing performance or conduct issues professionally and respectfully

✅ What We’re Looking For

Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities, or service delivery

A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality

Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills

Ability to manage time, travel between sites, and work independently

Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (essential)

Knowledge of WHS standards (training or certification is a plus)

Desirable:

Previous experience working in a commercial cleaning company

Experience in a quality, compliance, or operations role
