About Us
MB Partners is a well-established accounting and advisory firm based in North Richmond, proudly serving the Hawkesbury and greater Sydney region (and beyond). We're on an exciting growth journey, combining big-firm technical standards with small-firm accessibility to deliver proactive, practical advice to business owners, families, and local professionals. This position offers the freedom to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
For the right person, there's clear scope to develop into a senior leadership position over time.
Key Responsibilities

Provide value-added insights — tax planning, structuring and business improvement advice
Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical solutions
Review and support work of intermediate and junior staff
Identify workflow efficiencies and contribute to practice-wide process improvement
Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the practice, contributing to growth initiatives and client acquisition strategies.
About You
We're looking for someone who not only has the technical expertise but also the drive, vision, and leadership qualities to grow with the practice and take on a senior leadership role. You will have;
Minimum 6 years' experience in public practice
Experience may be calculated from either qualification date or total accounting experience
IPA, CA or CPA qualified (TPB registration will be highly regarded also)
Sound technical knowledge across tax and accounting standards
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
Proactive, reliable, and able to balance autonomy with teamwork
Proficient using Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks and ACCESS Handisoft an advantage
Australian work authorisation required for this position
What We Offer
$85k – $125k + super, negotiable based on experience
A balanced workload and supportive environment that values quality work over long hours
A stable, respected firm with strong local presence and loyal clients
Supportive, down-to-earth culture where input is valued
Clear scope for progression and leadership development
Located in the beautiful Hawkesbury region — close to home, away from the commute
