We are partnering with a leading ASX-listed financial services group to appoint a high-calibre Senior Financial Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join a dynamic, high-performing finance team in a role that combines financial accounting with management reporting and analysis.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with ASX and statutory requirements and supporting the business through high-quality management insights. This is a broad and hands-on role, well-suited to a technically strong accountant who is also commercially minded.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Month-end close, general ledger oversight and reconciliations
• Preparation of Board and management reports, including variance analysis and commentary
• Assisting with ASX announcements and external audit requirements
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Driving process improvements and contributing to finance transformation initiatives

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented professional with strong technical accounting expertise and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to senior stakeholders.

• CA/CPA qualified (Big 4 trained highly advantageous)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting for listed entities
• Experience in financial services, or exposure to complex, highly regulated industries desirable
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to partner across the business
