Key Responsibilities

• Manage insurance technical accounting processes including premiums, claims, reserves, reinsurance reporting, and settlements.
• Oversee month-end close and contribute to quarterly group consolidation reporting.
• Ensure accurate alignment between local GAAP and group reporting under IFRS17.
• Lead testing and implementation of a new accounting system across ANZ.
• Analyse financial data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain strong financial controls.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Minimum 3+ years' accounting experience in the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS17 and ability to navigate local GAAP vs. group reporting.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
