This great opportunity is with a giant player within the insurance space, renowned for its growth and successful track record. The company has recently gone through a restructure within the finance team, resulting in the need of a Senior Financial Accountant. Offering competitive flexibility and additional employee benefits, this is an incredible role for a driven and collaborative accounting professional.

Due to a restructure, this brilliant Senior Financial Accountant role has become available. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Month/ quarter end reporting

Reviewing statutory financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS

Budgeting and forecasting

APRA and ASIC regulatory reports

Local tax reporting

Annual audit processes

Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders

Mentoring junior team members

For you to be successful in your application, you will be a CA/CPA qualified with at least 7-8 years' experience from either a chartered firm (open on audit or business services) or a large complex organisation within the financial services sector. Additionally, you will need to be a fantastic communicator, possess strong technical accounting skills and be an innovative individual.
