The Opportunity

The successful candidate will become a key member of the finance team dedicated to civil operations, working closely with project teams, commercial leads, and senior leadership. With exposure to landmark infrastructure projects, this role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting
• Owning the budgeting and forecasting process across multiple major projects
• Leading WIP and project cost reviews, identifying variances and risks
• Managing tax, compliance, and external audit processes for the civil division
• Enhancing internal controls, systems, and financial reporting tools
• Partnering with project teams to provide commercial and financial insights
• Working alongside the finance manager however in a standalone role running a growing entity.

What They’re Looking For:

This role calls for a proactive, detail-driven finance professional who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution. Prior experience in a project-based environment, ideally within civil construction is essential.

Key criteria include:

• CPA or CA qualification
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction
• Strong knowledge of project-based accounting, cost control, and financial analysis
• Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with systems such as Jobpac or Cheops (essential)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
