Ford McCarthy is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Tax Accountant to manage the Riverton branch with the opportunity to acquire equity in the business. This is a full-time position based on-site at our Riverton office.

About the Role

This is a Managerial position for the right candidate and will give opportunity to buy equity in the ownership of the business

Deliver tax planning and compliance services to a broad client base

Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, small businesses, and companies

Conduct tax research to identify opportunities and ensure full compliance

Advise clients on tax minimisation strategies and regulatory updates

Work collaboratively with our accounting team to provide holistic financial solutions

Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our tax processes

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Qualification as an Accountant and Registered Tax Agent

Experience in a public accounting office preferred

Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance standards

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality, accurate work

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A proactive attitude towards professional development and learning

Prepared to live within the district and commute to Riverton on a daily basis
