We’re entering a significant expansion phase, including strategic acquisitions, system integration, and expanding our national footprint.

We’re seeking a Registered Tax Agent or experienced Tax & Compliance Manager to lead our accounting and tax function — managing lodgements, compliance systems, and client service across our fast-growing group.

Your Role

You’ll take ownership of:

Overseeing tax return and BAS lodgements for individuals, companies, SMSFs and trusts

Managing the ATO tax agent registration and ensuring compliance across entities

Reviewing and signing off tax work prepared by the internal team

Leading systems integration for new acquisitions (Xero Practice Manager, Class, Karbon & Pipedrive)

Supervising and mentoring junior and offshore accounting staff

Working with the leadership team on profitability, pricing models, and workflow automation

Supporting cross-divisional collaboration with Cooee Wealth, Mortgages, and Property Profits

About You

You’ll likely be:

A Registered Tax Agent (TPB)

CPA or CA qualified

5+ years’ experience in public practice with supervisory or management exposure

Confident in cloud-based systems (Xero Practice Manager, Class, Karbon & Pipedrive)

Interested in growth, acquisition, and building scalable systems, not just compliance work

A strong communicator who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment

What’s on Offer

Base salary $140,000 – $160,000 + super

Performance bonus up to $30,000 based on lodgement, client satisfaction and profitability KPIs

Equity / Profit Share Pathway: up to 10% in the Accounting division after 12 months
