About the Role
Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst is seeking a committed and service-oriented Service Desk Officer to join the team in Bathurst on a full-time temporary basis. This position plays a vital role in supporting school and office-based technology systems across the diocese.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support and triage service desk tickets.
- Deliver both remote and onsite ICT support across school and office environments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with users regarding issue resolution and timelines.
- Support staff and students in using approved ICT services to enhance teaching and learning.
- Promote a self-service culture by empowering users through training and support.
- Participate in ICT projects, meetings, and service improvement initiatives.
- Assist with equipment procurement, budgeting, and audiovisual support as required.
- Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety policies and report any hazards.

About You
- A strong alignment with the Vision and Mission of Catholic education.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven experience in ICT support, ideally within education or a similar setting.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and ticket management processes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and sites.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in ICT service delivery.
- Willingness to travel across sites as required.
