About the team

SafeWork NSW Construction directorate has a strategic approach to supporting a safe, healthy and productive construction industry in NSW. Construction provides a strong and consistent focus on building industry capability through strategic stakeholder engagement, evidence and risk-based harm prevention initiatives, and proportionate and targeted regulator response to construction incidents and requests for service

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the manager, inspectors and project teams
  • Preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes, processing inspector motor vehicle run sheets and maintaining the teams SharePoint page.
  • Supporting the coordination of events, information sessions and workshops
  • Maintaining accurate records, ensuring current and relevant information is available and relevant policies, procedures, confidentiality and privacy requirements are met
  • Assisting with purchasing functions such as ordering equipment and processing of invoices using SAP

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in providing a variety of administrative support services with competing priorities and be capable of working independently and without direction
  • Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality and have a proven high level of attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a high level of skills across a range of Microsoft applications
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
  • Be organised and adaptable to changing priorities
