Workplace Services Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Workplace Services Officer to join our team. In this vital front-line position, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations as the face of Sydney Markets ensuring an exceptional experience for staff, tenants, and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact at reception, managing and triaging visitors, and responding to general enquiries.
Oversee front desk operations, including incoming calls, mail, and deliveries.
Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate catering requirements for internal events and meetings.
Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions for tenant rentals, service payments.
Maintain and order office supplies, including stationery and general consumables.
Ensure communal areas such as reception, kitchens, and meeting rooms are clean, well-stocked, and presentable.
Liaise with building and operation management and suppliers to ensure a safe and functional workplace environment.
Support other People & Culture administrative requirements as needed.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Prior experience in a reception, facilities, or administrative support role.
Drive to create a positive experience for your team and stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word etc).
A proactive, autonomous, flexible, and service-oriented attitude.
