💻 Helpdesk Application Support Officer

💰 Rate: 39.41 + Super

We have partnered up with a major State Government Department who are seeking an enthusiastic Helpdesk Application Support Officer to join a dynamic service centre team providing critical Level 1 application support.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage requests for first-level application support, logging issues and following agreed procedures.
• Respond to common requests by providing information and resolutions where possible, and escalate unresolved matters appropriately.
• Conduct initial problem assessments and educate end users to reduce recurring issues.
• Contribute to and maintain knowledge base documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Liaise with customers and team members to provide regular status updates and feedback.
• Support the implementation of Service Centre initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Organise workload effectively to deliver responsive, quality client service in a collaborative environment.
• Assist in developing and refining administrative systems, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

You’re a proactive problem-solver with strong customer service and communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced support environment and enjoy helping others resolve technical challenges.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Knowledge of OneSchool and/or QLearn (Canvas), or the ability to quickly learn these systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• A commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
