Resolve Recruit is partnering with a leading Commonwealth Government agency to find a highly skilled Technical Delivery Manager to oversee managed ICT services and drive operational excellence. Our client delivers critical infrastructure and services supporting thousands of users across Australia and internationally.

As Technical Delivery Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between managed service providers and internal technical teams, overseeing end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure including desktop environments, cloud technologies, and security platforms. You will lead contract management, service transitions and stakeholder engagement at operational and executive levels. You will be responsible for ensuring services align with contractual commitments and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract reviews, renewals and prepare requirements for market approaches
  • Manage service transitions as primary technical lead, ensuring readiness and clear expectations
  • Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and executive stakeholders
  • Coordinate with vendors and technical teams to ensure seamless system integration and efficiency
  • Manage service documentation, escalation procedures, risk registers and release coordination

Key Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years in technical and delivery/service management roles
  • Excellent communication skills, conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record building strong relationships with customers, teams and stakeholders
  • Technical experience with Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, security platforms (MDM, Defender)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, PowerShell, application packaging and SOE deployment
  • Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles and Agile methodologies

Security Clearance Requirements:

Applicants must hold an active Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered.
