Our Opportunity

We are seeking a committed, detail-oriented and approachable People & Culture Advisor to join our dynamic team in this full-time, permanent role, ideally starting in January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional to contribute to the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement, culture, compliance and professional learning. The position plays a key role in supporting leaders and staff to uphold the College’s values and to ensure an engaged, people-centred workplace experience.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful applicant will be part of a small, collaborative and high-performing team that provides best practice advice and HR support across the College.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver end-to-end recruitment campaigns, ensuring a professional and values-aligned candidate experience
• Coordinate the onboarding, induction and offboarding processes
• Provide timely and accurate HR advice, documentation and guidance to leaders and employees
• Contribute to HR policy development, performance and learning programs, and culture initiatives
• Oversee data accuracy and compliance within the HRIS/ATS systems, including reporting and analytics
• Assist in ensuring adherence to the College’s Enterprise Agreement, policies and employment legislation
• Partner with leaders to build engagement and strengthen a positive workplace culture

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
• Eighteen months - two years experience in an HR Coordinator role
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and professional judgement
• Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation and HR systems
• A collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for people and culture work
