The Opportunity
We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our small, supportive P&C team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, helping others, and being part of a team that’s building a great workplace.
You’ll play a key part in the day-to-day running of our People & Culture function, supporting recruitment, onboarding, HR systems, and general administration. This is a hands-on role where you’ll make sure our people have the right information, support, and setup to do their best work.
In this role, you’ll:
Assist with P&C initiatives, engagement activities, and internal communications
Help manage our HRIS (ELMO), keeping data accurate and up to date
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for all employees
Support recruitment, including shortlisting candidates, screening calls, and interview scheduling
Maintain employee records and assist with preparing contracts and documentation
Provide first-line HR support and respond to employee queries
Support training and compliance tracking, reporting, and general HR administration
About You
You’re organised, detail-oriented, and love helping things (and people) run smoothly. You naturally build trust, take feedback on board, and have a growth mindset, always looking for ways to learn and improve.
You’ll bring:
Experience in HR administration, recruitment, employee engagement, or general administration
Understanding (or developing knowledge) of HR best practices, Australian workplace laws, and Fair Work compliance, paired with a willingness to keep learning
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
A proactive, team-focused mindset - you see what needs doing and make it happen
A relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) in HR, Business, or a related field
