Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation with no religious affiliations. For more than 75 years, we have been delivering high quality family and relationship support services, and we now support more than 20,000 clients every year. We have over 400 dedicated employees working from 21 centres across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
What makes this role special
This role is your opportunity to make a real impact across a values led organisation where no two days are the same. As a generalist, you will bring your hands on experience to all aspects of end-to-end People & Culture operations, from recruitment, performance, ER/IR advice, culture and engagement, OHS and workcover. Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, you’ll play a pivotal role as an employee and manager point of contact in fostering a positive and supportive workplace. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting strategic and operational projects to innovate, streamline processes and implement practical HR tools that make a difference to our workforce. This position provides the chance to be a part of a small team where you can grow your knowledge, skill and experience and progress your career.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, law or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a HR generalist role with strong knowledge of Australian workplace legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage conflict and provide pragmatic, business-focused HR solutions.
- High attention to detail and confidence working autonomously.
