My client is a leading provider of values based Cathlic education across Australia , who is is dedicated to shaping compassionate, capable learners grounded in faith and social responsibilities.
We are seeking an experienced and values-driven People & Culture Manager to join our leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will provide both strategic and operational HR leadership, ensuring our people and culture frameworks are not only compliant and effective, but also truly reflective of our values.
About the Role Reporting to the CEO and Head of Legal, you will:
- Lead the full spectrum of people and culture functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with education sector standards, enterprise agreements, and child safeguarding requirements.
- Manage Workcover administration, compliance, and reporting with care and integrity.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen workforce capability, support succession planning, and build leadership pathways across our schools.
- Champion initiatives that foster inclusion, wellbeing, and a high-performing culture grounded in passionate mission and values.
- Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting to enhance efficiency and engagement.
About You You are a collaborative HR leader who combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for people and culture in an education setting. You bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Education, Law, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in leading HR functions, ideally within education, faith-based or not-for-profit organisations.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments, and contemporary HR practice.
- Proven experience in recruitment, policy development, Workcover management, and employee relations.
- A values-driven mindset, with the ability to foster culture and support mission-driven leadership.
