The Company

This well-established organisation is undertaking a key Accounts Receivable clean-up project to strengthen its finance function and improve process accuracy. With both corporate and client-related ledgers requiring attention, the business is looking for an adaptable finance professional who enjoys problem-solving and tidying up complex reconciliations.

You’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team that values initiative, clear communication, and a proactive approach to getting things done.

The Role

This short-term opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into detail and creating order from complexity. You’ll be working across current and historical data to reconcile transactions, finalise allocations, and help refine receipting processes for smoother operations going forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile third-party receipts (current & historical), matching remittances to payments.
  • Collaborate with clinics and Finance to finalise outstanding allocations.
  • Support the rollout and refinement of new receipting processes.
  • Process legacy transactions within the Practice Management System (PMS) to ensure alignment with Finance.
  • Reconcile AR and AP ledgers and resolve basic discrepancies.
  • Follow up on outstanding corporate receivables and liaise with external clients.
  • Assist with finance process improvements and ad hoc support, including AR/AP tasks, credit card reconciliations, and audit preparation.

About You

You’re hands-on, organised, and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records. You enjoy solving problems, working collaboratively, and seeing immediate impact from your efforts.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Allocation, or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work through complex reconciliations.
  • Confident communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of both AR and AP processes.
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

What’s on Offer

  • Short-term contract with potential to extend.
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact in a short timeframe.
  • Collaborative and supportive finance team.

How to Apply

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to the success of a growing business, we’d love to hear from you!
