The Role
Reporting to the GM you will support the production plan by managing the purchasing process ensuring availability of raw materials across both product and packaging. Main duties will include:

• Purchasing, procurement & supplier relationship
• Raising purchase orders for materials in accordance with the weekly production plan (some manual input required)
• Liaise closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure items are fully stocked in accordance with the extended Supply Forecast
• Onboard new suppliers ensuring credit checks and accuracy of all details
• Assisting team with stocktake
• Lead the weekly purchasing meeting briefing the leadership team on any supply chain issues

The Requirements

• Previous purchasing and supply chain experience within the FMCG industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong supplier management skills including onboarding of new suppliers
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
