The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced IT Application Lead – Supply Chain to take ownership of key systems that support nationwide logistics, transport, inventory, and operational processes.

In this leadership position, you'll oversee the day-to-day support of business-critical supply chain applications, acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues while also guiding a team of application engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the support and stability of integrated supply chain applications;
• Resolving high-impact technical issues and driving root cause analysis;
• Engaging with users across logistics, manufacturing, and transport functions;
• Managing incidents, change, and system performance in line with best practice frameworks (e.g. ITIL);
• Driving documentation, continuous improvement, and mentoring a small team; and
• Supporting system upgrades, integrations, and functionality enhancements.

About You

You’re a technically strong and people-focused IT professional with a deep understanding of how applications underpin modern supply chain operations.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• 10+ years of application support experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership;
• Background working in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or transport-related environments;
• Proficiency with enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL, Linux/Unix, Microsoft Server, Cloud technologies);
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured, methodical approach to problem solving;
• Knowledge of system integration, middleware, and application monitoring;
• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred); and
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and lead others.
