We are passionate about doing it differently and breaking the common ideals of disability care for participants 7yrs - young adults with a range of disabilities, neurodiverse and special needs. We offer a range of services from Individual and Group Day Supports and Personal Care Programs, to some seriously fun after-school and school holiday programs, to our popular Hub Crawl for 18+ weekly on a Thursday night. We have recently moved to our new location in Cardiff and redesigned the Hub in Boolaroo to a stunning Respite Home ready to welcome our Happy Humans. Our business is diversifying…and fast!
About the role
A rare opportunity has become available for a full-time “administration superstar” to join our dynamic team to assist with reception, administration, and office support tasks.
You will be the first smile our clients and visitors see when they walk in the door or feel at the other end of a phone call, so we're looking for someone passionate about ensuring the highest levels of customer service on the phone, face-to-face, and across our various communication channels.
On reception, you will meet and greet visitors with a welcoming and professional demeanour, manage incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate team members, and provide intake and administrative support for enquiries and new clients. Behind the scenes, you will support the team as an administration all-rounder - preparing, formatting, and reviewing correspondence, reports, records, and more! We are looking for someone who will use initiative to ensure the smooth, high-quality and efficient running of the office.
Your skills and experience
Previous experience working in a NDIS customer service role and/or experience working in an administration or reception role
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Excellent communication skills and phone manner
Professional, warm, and enthusiastic approach to work and most importantly other Humans
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and work ethic
A mature nature that understands the importance of maintaining confidentiality, reliability, and consistency.
Demonstrate capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook - Efficient skills and knowledge of these apps are essential to the efficient running of our business (also previous exp. with Shiftcare, CareMaster, Xero and Canva a bonus!)
Essential criteria
Current NSW Working with Children Check
Drivers Licence, a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance
First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
Recent Criminal History Check
