The role:
The Administrative Officer assists, contributes, supports and provides effective administrative and executive support services for Clinical Program. This includes:
- Provide effective executive support to the Clinical Program Director:
- Calendar and email management
- Secretariat support
- Travel and event coordination
- Correspondence management.
- Maintain and update Performance Development Plan (PDP) and training registers on behalf of the Clinical Program.
- Represent Clinical Program in branch wide committees and working groups.
- Provide efficient and effective support to the Director and the work unit by maintaining efficient records management and information management systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating, negotiating, advising and working collaboratively with others to reach decisions.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Knowledge of policies and practices relating to finance, human resources, assets and records management.
- Experience in the use of computers and software packages (eg. MS Office, electronic mail).
- Ability to apply oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in an administrative support role.
- Experience in solving problems and implementing solutions within a set timeframe.
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
