Support, Organise, and Grow – Assistant Manager Role
Are you passionate about community development and have a talent for administration? Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the Centre Manager in Warrane, Hobart. Join our team and make a meaningful impact!
In this permanent part-time role (24 hours/week, SCHADs Award Level 5), you'll manage daily operations by handling complex administrative tasks, ensuring compliance, drafting procedures, and preparing grant applications and reports. Focused on community development, you'll contribute to program and operational plans, and engage with the community through marketing and social media. The Assistant Manager will also step in for the Centre Manager when needed, overseeing team members and volunteers.

Experience and qualifications
Essential:
Ability to work Tuesdays to Fridays
Extensive experience in administration and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Hold current Tasmanian Driver's License.
Hold or be prepared to obtain a clear National Police Check and a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Card
Adherence to the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Framework
Desirable:
• relevant degree with relevant experience
• or associate diploma with substantial experience.
Solid technical skills and expertise in information technology.
