About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Panacea Wealth Management, a boutique financial planning firm in Barangaroo, NSW, as a Part-Time Financial Planning Assistant (3 days per week).

At Panacea, we look after our clients like our family. We manage and monitor their finances with the same care and attention as we would our own. This role is entirely client-focused, ensuring our clients feel supported, valued, and confident in their financial journey.

You will be responsible for responding to client queries, preparing for review meetings, implementing agreed-upon actions in those meetings, and maintaining ongoing relationships through regular client contact. On occasion, you may also assist with reaching out to new prospects.

What you'll be doing

Respond to existing client queries promptly and professionally

Prepare materials and documents for client Review Meetings

Implement actions agreed upon during client meetings

Maintain regular contact with existing clients, including making phone calls to check in and provide updates

Support occasional outreach to new prospects as directed

Keep accurate client records and maintain organised documentation

Work closely with the team, maintaining professionalism and a collaborative mindset

Stay informed of industry practices and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

Interest in starting a career in financial planning – no prior industry experience required

Strong communication, interpersonal, and professional skills

Organised, proactive, and attentive to detail

Comfortable making phone calls and liaising with clients

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and financial planning software

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to a collaborative workplace

Enthusiasm to learn and grow within a boutique, very client-focused financial planning environment
