About the role
We are seeking an experienced and friendly medical receptionist to join our busy medical practice in Buderim, Queensland. As a full-time medical receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, handling administrative tasks, and supporting the smooth running of our clinic.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival, and directing them to the appropriate areas
Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and cancellations
Handling patient inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, and providing accurate information
Assisting with patient registration, record-keeping, and data entry
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
Providing administrative support to the medical team as needed
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
A minimum of 6-12 months medical reception experience is required for this position
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and manage a busy workload
Proficient in using medical practice software, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office applications
Essential experience with Genie Solutions medical practice software is required
A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Australian citizenship is required for this position

The job is for 64 hour per fortnight Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm
With half hour lunch break.
The job description involve billing and , handling of Efpos and reconciliation of daily statement .
