Rowanos Restaurant – We’re Hiring for Summer! 🍷🍕🍸

Rowanos is a vibrant Italian restaurant group with venues across Melbourne’s east. Known for our handcrafted 36-hour fermented pizzas, modern Italian dining, and buzzing evening atmosphere, we’re preparing for a busy November & December season – and we want YOU to join our team!

We are currently recruiting for:

✨ Section Wait Staff (Up to 30 hours per week)

We’re looking for skilled section waiters/waitresses who thrive in a busy restaurant environment and love creating memorable dining experiences.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 1 year experience running your own section

Sharp and presentable, but bring your own individual style

Excellent time management and ability to handle pressure

Steak and wine knowledge a bonus (menus can be taught)

Comfortable managing a section and ensuring out-by times

Passion for tailoring service and building genuine rapport with guests

RSA required

🍽 Food Runners (Casual, 10–15 hours per week)

Perfect for energetic and guest-focused team players who want to learn and grow in hospitality.

What we’re looking for:

Able to confidently carry three or more plates

Can follow directions and remember orders with ease

Comfortable describing dishes when serving guests

Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable

Available weekends and evenings

Capable of taking phone orders and bookings

Calm and positive under pressure

🍸 Bartenders (Casual/Part-Time, 15–25 hours per week)

We’re after passionate bartenders who know how to mix, shake, and pour with confidence while creating a lively bar atmosphere.

What we’re looking for:

Previous bar experience required (cocktail knowledge preferred)

Strong product knowledge across wine, beer & spirits (training provided)

Ability to multitask in a busy bar and work with speed & accuracy

Excellent presentation and communication skills

RSA required

Positive attitude, team player, and love for guest interaction
