About the role:

Take charge of our café while leading, developing and supporting your team to deliver outstanding service and memorable experiences. You’ll foster a positive, growth-focused culture where teamwork, quality and guest satisfaction come first.

Responsibilities:

As a Food & Beverage Team Leader, you’ll oversee the daily operation of our café and kitchen, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service. You’ll take ownership of shift coordination, support team performance, and maintain strong communication with management. Your focus will be on creating an enjoyable experience for guests while fostering a positive, motivated team culture behind the scenes.

Lead and support the team to deliver exceptional service, quality food and beverages, and a positive guest experience.

Lead and support the team during shifts to deliver exceptional service and uphold food, beverage, and hygiene standards.

Supervise food preparation, presentation, and safety compliance, ensuring all OHS and food handling procedures are met.

Train, coach, and mentor staff to build confidence, teamwork, and consistency in service delivery.

Manage stock levels, cash handling, and daily operations efficiently, reporting any issues to management.

Promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for both guests and team members, responding calmly and proactively to challenges.

All final applicants for this role must provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check before starting work.
