Payroll / HR Officer (Part-Time)Adelaide CBD | 5-day fortnight (3 days one week, 2 days the next)
Join a collaborative People & Development team at one of South Australia’s leading member-owned financial institutions. We’re looking for a motivated Payroll Officer to provide support across both payroll and human resources functions, ensuring our employees receive accurate, timely, and high-quality service.

About the Role This newly created position will work closely with the Payroll Officer and HR Manager to assist with end-to-end payroll processing, HR administration, and general people support activities.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining smooth payroll operations, assisting with employee data management, and supporting various people and culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fortnightly payroll processing, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
• Maintain employee records in payroll and HR systems
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and HR administration tasks
• Provide timely and professional support to employees and leaders on payroll and HR-related queries
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant employment legislation
• Contribute to continuous improvement across payroll and people processes

About You

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in payroll
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A collaborative and proactive approach to work
• Experience with Micropay and ConnX is desirable but not essential
