About the Role
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $80,000 + Salary Sacrifice benefits
As our Payroll Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless payroll services across the organisation:
- Process fortnightly payroll using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering
- Accurately calculate and pay wages, purchase leave, terminations, paid company parental leave and superannuation, and more
- Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts
- Maintain confidential employee data and ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Handle payroll queries with professionalism and empathy
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll functions
- Proven expertise in payroll systems (Aurion preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:
- Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
- Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
Exemptions on a temporary or permanent basis can only be approved by Eldercare’s Chief Executive.
