About the Role

We're seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to join the Overpayments Team within Payroll Services. Reporting to the Operational Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely management of overpayments, assisting with calculations, recovery processes, and client communication.

You'll gain hands-on experience across various payroll functions, including:

• Accurate data entry and payroll processing
• Master data updates, timesheet coding, and leave applications
• Professional communication with internal staff and external clients
• Meeting daily team targets and contributing to shared goals

• Current National Police Clearance (mandatory)
• Previous payroll experience (CHRIS21 experience desirable)
• Strong data entry skills (minimum 40wpm)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• High level of reliability and time management
• Strong numeracy and written communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment (call centre or similar advantageous)
