Are you a creative thinker, a master of logistics, and a people-person all rolled into one? Do you love bringing ideas to life and making events truly unforgettable?
At Vertaview Group, we’re on the lookout for a talented Events & Community Engagement Manager to help us deliver dynamic, high-impact events that drive real connection with our internal teams, stakeholders, and the broader community.
This is more than just a job, it’s a chance to make a difference through meaningful, purpose-driven events.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
- Opportunities to influence a complex multi-entity organisation
- Lead the development of an IR strategy that genuinely impacts people’s lives
- Maximise your take-home pay with up to $15,900 tax-free and $2,500 for meals/entertainment, plus Novated Leasing options through NFP salary packaging
- Unlock exclusive employee-only discounts on shopping, dining, travel, and more
- Flexible working arrangements – Office based (Eight Mile Plains Location) with hybrid options
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll be the heartbeat of our events – from concept to curtain call. You’ll work alongside a passionate MarComms team, crafting events that aren’t just beautifully executed, but aligned with real business strategy.
You’ll be:
- Designing and delivering standout events that leave a lasting impression
- Developing smart event strategies for a range of internal and external audiences
- Owning the process – from timelines, budgets, supplier wrangling, to event-day execution
- Driving promotion across channels – think social, email, print, video & beyond
- Collaborating with senior advisors to align every event with brand goals
- Managing a packed calendar – fundraising, marketing, special events & more
- Leading event-day ops and ensuring smooth, stress-free experiences
About You
You’re a natural organiser, communicator, and creative problem-solver. You love a fast-paced environment, thrive on variety, and never lose sight of the details. You’re just as comfortable presenting a strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to get things done on event day.
You bring:
- 3+ years' experience in event coordination or marketing/events-related roles.
- A relevant degree (Marketing, Events, Communications, Business or similar).
- A portfolio of events you’ve successfully managed, both large and small scale.
- Experience with tools like Canva, Vision 6, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Survey Monkey and CMS platforms.
- Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in events and marketing.
- Ability to travel occasionally (intra/interstate) and work some evenings/weekends when events call for it.
Bonus points if you’ve worked in the disability or mental health sectors and have a passion for inclusive, accessible event experiences.
