We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Admin Assistant to join our highly enthusiastic administration team in our well established West Perth Chartered Accounting practice. Visit our website www.abbotts.net.au for more information.
This exciting opportunity will suit a team oriented, self- motivated individual, who is a forward thinker, has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate initiative in all duties undertaken. This is a hands-on role where time and accuracy management is crucial. You will be working in a team environment where training and development is prioritised so all you need is a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities
Preparation and lodgement of ASIC forms and company reviews
Secretarial duties for Partners & Accounting staff
Data management
Documents management
Client administration tasks
Client liaison
Printing and collating tax returns and financial statements
Lodge tax returns
Reception backup duties
Correspondence with external parties (ie. ATO, customers, suppliers)
To succeed in a professional services business your will need to bring some personal attributes that are aligned to the nature of our industry, these include;
A desire to help others , be they colleagues or clients

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Have a positive attitude towards your work

Prerequisites
Our industry brings with it a degree of specialist skills as such our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following prerequisites but they are not the only thing we are looking for and candidates that can demonstrate a clear ‘Fit’ with ourselves will be highly placed for success in this role.
At least 2 years experience in an Administration/Clerical or other suitable office oriented role
Possess strong computer skills - Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel and Word
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or MYOB (Favoured but not essential)
