About this position
The City is committed to providing attractive, safe and well-maintained parks, public spaces and natural areas for passive and active recreation while protecting and conserving the natural environment.
In this position, you will join our dedicated Parks Operations team based at the Operations Centre in Maddington, and utilise your horticultural skills to ensure that the City's parks and sports grounds are maintained to high standards.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant industry experience in horticultural and turf management practices
Substantial experience operating tractors and utilising various multi-wing mowing and renovation implements in a turf management environment
Essential requirements
MR driver's licence
White Card
National Police Clearance (no more than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
Certificate III in Turf Management or equivalent is not essential but would be highly regarded.
