Nestled poolside within The Calile Hotel (ranked #25 on the World’s 50 Best Hotels), Hellenika brings the authentic flavours of Greece to the heart of James Street. Known for our attention to detail, premium produce, and warm, generous hospitality, we’ve become a cornerstone of Brisbane’s dining scene.

We’re now looking for a Bar Manager to lead the next chapter of our beverage story, someone who can elevate our already strong bar program and bring creativity, leadership, and genuine passion to this one-of-a-kind venue.

What You’ll Be Doing

Curate and Create: Develop a premium spirits and cocktail list that celebrates both modern drinks innovation and the flavours of Greece.

Elevate Service: Whilst we are a dispense bar, our desire is to deliver a world-class guest experience, from the first pour to the final farewell. Helping guide a supported bar team make memories for all our guests.

Lead by Example: Guide, mentor and inspire bartenders, baristas and bar backs to perform at their best, building a culture of consistency, pride and excellence.

Refine Operations: Oversee bar systems, stock management, and service flow with precision and care.

Who You Are

A proven Bar Manager (3+ years) from a fast-paced, premium venue.

A leader who leads from the front, setting standards through your own actions.

Deeply knowledgeable about spirits, cocktails, and wine while being endlessly curious to learn more.

Organised, calm under pressure, and obsessive about quality and detail.
