We are looking for a dynamic 'Director of First Impressions' to be the welcoming face and voice of Watters Electrical to manage our front desk administration duties and be part of the office administration team. You'll play a vital role in creating a professional and friendly impression, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service every day. This role would suit someone with front office experience and skills or a Business Traineeship (salary amendment) is available for the right candidate.
About Watters Electrical: Watters Electrical is the largest and longest standing electrical contracting company operating in Regional Victoria, Southern New South Wales and the Goulburn Valley employing over 250 local people. Located in Albury, Shepparton and Wangaratta, Watters Electricals' geographical influence ranges over hundreds of kilometers, providing electrical services in all aspects of the electrical industry.
About the Role: As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression — whether greeting visitors at reception, answering phone and email enquiries, or supporting our busy administrative team. This position is an annualised salary role full-time, 40 hours per week between the office opening hours of 8.00am - 5.00pm on-site in our newly refurbished Shepparton office.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring all interactions are welcoming, professional and timely.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with a helpful, can-do attitude.
Provide administrative support to internal departments, ensuring accurate data entry and smooth daily operations.
Assist with general office duties, including office presentation and maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace and office.
Attributes and Experience:
Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
A friendly, approachable personality with a professional presentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including telephone and email etiquette.
Strong organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail.
A proactive attitude with the ability to multi task and stay calm under pressure.
Previous experience in administration, scheduling, or invoicing is desirable.

About Watters Electrical
During early June 2012, Robin Knaggs returned early from a family holiday overseas to attempt to salvage something from the Hastie collapse, as he considered the collapse of the Hastie Group and therefore the impact on the Watters Electrical name, as a slur on the work he had done to build the business up. Interestingly, Robin continued to own the properties leased by the Shepparton and Cobram operations.
