Business Development Manager – CSSD | NSW & QLD

About the Role
Our client is a leading provider of infection control solutions and consumables used in hospitals and Central Sterile Services Departments (CSSD). Due to sustained growth, we are seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to drive sales across NSW and QLD.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role offers autonomy and scope to independently grow the territory. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in CSSD, Infection Prevention, and hospital sales, with the ability to make an immediate impact.

You will manage both NSW and QLD, requiring regular interstate travel (approx. one week per month). The focus will be on cultivating strong partnerships with public and private hospitals, private practices, and day surgeries, with a clear emphasis on CSSD.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across NSW & QLD hospitals.

Identify and convert new business opportunities to drive territory growth.

Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a robust customer base.

Deliver product demonstrations, seminars, and presentations to customers.

Provide solutions to customer challenges and deliver timely technical support.

Maximise territory coverage to ensure strong visibility and presence.

Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide timely reporting.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Proven track record of sales success in the medical device or healthcare industry.

In-depth knowledge of the NSW and/or QLD hospital landscape.

Demonstrated experience in CSSD sales with strong exposure to Infection Prevention.

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with CRM systems and strong administrative discipline.

Self-driven, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service.
